Background
Jackson Hogg are excited to be working alongside our client Tracerco based in Billingham for an experienced and versatile Senior Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Developer to join their small technology team. As a Senior Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Developer, you will play a critical role in developing and customising their Dynamics 365 and SharePoint platforms to meet their business needs. Your expertise in both Dynamics 365 and SharePoint development will contribute to the successful implementation and optimisation of their business processes.
Responsibilities
· Develop, customise, and maintain Dynamics 365 and SharePoint solutions based on business requirements, ensuring high-quality code and system performance.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for both Dynamics 365 and SharePoint platforms.
· Design, configure, and implement Dynamics 365 modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, and Finance.
· Create and customise SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, and workflows to facilitate collaboration, document management, and business process automation.
· Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the stability and reliability of the Dynamics 365 and SharePoint platforms.
· Create and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user guides for both platforms.
· Provide guidance and support to junior developers, assisting them in problem-solving and ensuring adherence to best practices in Dynamics 365 and SharePoint development.
· Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in Dynamics 365 and SharePoint development, evaluating and recommending new features and functionalities to enhance our systems.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and project managers, to deliver successful Dynamics 365 and SharePoint implementations and integrations.
· Conduct performance tuning and optimisation activities to maximise the efficiency and response time of both platforms.
· Ensure compliance with security and data protection standards within the Dynamics 365 and SharePoint environments.
Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Dynamics 365 and SharePoint development are highly desirable.
· Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 and SharePoint Developer, with at least 5 years of hands-on development experience.
· In-depth knowledge of Dynamics 365 platform, including customisation, configuration, and integration.
· Strong proficiency in SharePoint development, including creating custom sites, lists, libraries, workflows, and web parts.
· Experience with full-cycle Dynamics 365 and SharePoint implementations, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
· Familiarity with Dynamics 365 modules, including Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Marketing, and Finance.
· Proficient in working with Common Data Service (CDS), Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI in the context of Dynamics 365.
· Solid understanding of SharePoint capabilities, including SharePoint Online and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
· Experience in developing SharePoint solutions using technologies such as SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Microsoft Flow.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
