I am looking for an admin assistant to join the administration team for a well established company based in Darlington to support clients.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls, meet and greet clients on arrival, make refreshments for visitors, order lunches, prepare meeting rooms and assist with kitchen duties
- Process incoming and outgoing post
- Undertake scanning and filing
- Accept deliveries, put stock away and assist with ordering stationery and office supplies
- Undertake administration tasks including producing letters, arranging meetings including booking meeting rooms and binding documents
- Undertake portal publishing, send bank letter requests and client verified transaction requests and send Confirmation statement cover letters
- Produce engagement letters and submit accounts to Companies House, processing of signed accounts
- Use a variety of administration and accounting systems
Person Specification:
- Proven administration experience
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be confident speaking to clients and colleagues face to face, over the telephone and by email
- The ability to check work for accuracy and have good attention to detail
- Be able to demonstrate your initiative to solve problems
- Be flexible and proactive in managing multiple priorities
- Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
- Experience working in an accountancy or using document management system advantageous
Hours of Work:
- Flexible (core hours 9:30am – 4pm) and opportunity to accrue hours for a 9 day fortnight
- Hybrid working may be available after probation period

Salary: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
