Reporting to: Bid Manager
Working hours: 37.hrs/week

Introduction:
Jackson Hogg is pleased to be working with a manufacturer of health and safety equipment who are seeking a Bids Administrator to join their team in Blyth, with hybrid working available. This role involves managing and coordinating the pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), requests for information (RFIs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and pricelists, to help turn opportunities into tenders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Complete all questionnaires and customer information request activities (PQQs, RFIs, and RFQs) and manage the CRM internal questionnaire system
  • Scan for opportunities by monitoring web-based portal activity and the UK Tenders inbox
  • Manage price lists and coordinate pricing and report reviews with the sales team
  • Manage all inbound and outbound communication from the Tenders team
  • Ensure consistency in style, language and approach of responses
  • Maintain a bid library containing updated and standardized requests content

Skills and experience:

  • Experience dealing with technical questionnaires or bids/tenders in a coordination/administrative capacity
  • MS Office – Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Customer oriented, with the ability to organise and prioritise effectively
  • Highly literate with excellent written and oral communication skills
