Customer Services Manager
Location: Hartlepool
Reporting to: Sales Director
Direct reports: Yes (managing the sales team)
Working hours: Full-time (40hrs/week, Mon-Fri), permanent
Introduction:
Jackson Hogg is pleased to be working with a major fuel oil distributor who are seeking a Customer Services Manager to join their team in their head office in Hartlepool. The purpose of the role is to manage the domestic sales team and service the business’ residential customer base. The position is based in Hartlepool with the need for travel to other regional company depots to support staff working from these locations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and developing strong relationships with the business’ existing customer base, stakeholders, colleagues, and 3rd party suppliers
- Identifying new prospect customers and regaining lapsed customers.
- Managing customer queries, focusing on retention and customer satisfaction.
- Managing the Sales and Service Team through provision of ongoing support, personal development, and training.
- Monitoring the inbound customer leads and queries for existing and potential orders.
- Provide sales report analyses and present to all stakeholders.
Skills and experience:
- Experience managing a Customer Services or Sales Team
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to performance-monitor, manage, and enthuse a team.
- Proactive, ambitious, and target-driven nature.
- IT skills with the ability to quickly learn bespoke systems.
- Full UK driving license.
