Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting an established EV manufacturer as they expand their Maintenance and Service department with the addition of a Service and Aftersales Engineer. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to be part of the booming Electric Vehicle sector and be involved directly with the electrification agenda.
This role is a hands on Maintenance role with a focus on customer site repairs, service and warranty work. Knowledge and understanding of vehicles is essential with specific knowledge of larger trucks, lorries and buses most desirable.
This is a customer facing role, dealing directly with the end user and resolving any repairs or service queries quickly and effectively. Usual duties include:
- Repair and maintenance of customer EV vehicles
- Warranty and Aftersales enquiries and processing
- Integration of Electrification systems to pre-existing and new drive systems
- Analysis and Integration of EV Architecture and Makeup
- Support development of customer training systems and on site repair measures
- Preventative and Reactive maintenance at customer locations
This is a fluid and developing role with a long term scope to move into a management role with the business quite quickly. The successful candidate will be electrically bias and have good understanding of and/or working knowledge of EVs. This could be working within an Automotive Manufacturer, an Electrical Integrator or at an Automotive Dealership. Candidates without direct EV experience or who are Mechanically biased are unlikely to be considered. Candidates must be time served as a minimum.
