Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with Apollo Fire Detectors on the appointment of their Head of Supply Chain.

The Role
As Head of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for the end-to-end supply chain activities across procurement, category management, logistics, warehousing, planning and inventory control. Leading from the front, you will be paving the way in shaping business supply chain strategy and further establishing the existing supply chain function by driving change, designing and delivering improvements as well as shaping new improved processes and initiatives in order to achieve business objectives and targeted growth.
About You
This role would suit an ambitious and driven Supply Chain professional with an extensive background within manufacturing and ideally with sound working knowledge of sourcing electronic components, managing an international supplier base and shaping supply chain strategy as well as driving best operational practice.
People leadership is crucial within the role, the successful candidate must have the ability to coach, mentor, empower and develop talent across the supply chain function.
Other required and desirable experience / skills include:
- 10+ years end-to-end supply chain experience within manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills and passion to coach, mentor and develop people
- Sourcing Electronic Components / Electronic Manufacturing Experience
- Category Management
- Experience developing strategic relationships with a global supplier base
- Contract Management
- Strong inventory control experience
- Previous experience leading MRP/ERP implementation projects desirable
