Key Accounts Manager
Jackson Hogg is delighted to support our Engineering client on an exclusive basis in their search for a Key Accounts Manager.
The company is growing with a Turnover of just over £40m, this role will be based at their County Durham site and will cover contract manufacturing of bespoke products.
They are looking for a Key Account Manager the right person needs to have a significant amount of commercial awareness that will cover both the supply chain and its cost base, but more importantly transferring those costs to the customer, maintaining the price levels on all parts, and building on the relationship. They are looking for new and expanding markets, so it’s a great opportunity to join a growing company.
The Role
• Seek out new sales opportunities and enquiries from both new and existing client
• Ensure contract sales margins are maximised
•Cross-sell products and services to existing and potential new customers
To be successful you need
• Act as main point of contact for customers during the pre-contract phase, ensuring high levels of responsiveness and exceptional customer service.
• Lead and co-ordinate responses to enquiries with collaborative support from other departments, following the defined sales process.
• Develop and manage the opportunity pipeline
Continuously build and strengthen relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate and demonstrate the value proposition of product and service offerings.
• Gain a deep understanding of the market landscape, customers, competitors, and other stakeholders.
• Lead the negotiation process and co-ordinate support from various departments.
Degree in Engineering or similar would be advantages.
