Jackson Hogg is supporting a well-known regional manufacturer in their search for a Maintenance Planner. This role is a newly created position to support the development and implementation of a functioning and robust Maintenance Management System.
This is a unique role and it will be largely formed by the experience and knowledge of the successful candidate. This is a chance to really influence the job and the role. The key functions include:
- Implementing a new MMS
- Running and managing the existing internal systems and integrating this into the newly created process and system
- Daily planning and scheduling of all maintenance tasks and activities
- Providing parts, materials and inventory support across the department
- Inter-departmental liaising providing information to support and project, production, engineering and maintenance work
This role would suit an experienced Manager or planner looking to move away from the management or leadership remit and purely focus on a planning, office based, support role. Additionally, an aspiring Technician who does not want man management responsibilities but likes the data, planning and administrative elements of the role.
