Are you a Material Planner looking for a new challenge? Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a client based in Eaglescliffe with the appointment of a Material Planner. We are looking for somebody with previous material planning experience, who is confident using SAP and confident in their role.
On offer is an excellent opportunity to step up into a role within a global brand, and work alongside the supply chain team.
This person must be able to work under pressure, happy to deal with suppliers and spend time on the factory floor.
Responsibilities include:
- Calling -off raw materials and packaging materials in line with SAP demand to arrive at the production plant within specified inventory targets.
- Calculating and placing long term orders for all materials.
- Reviewing the weekly production plan and working with the Production Planners to ensure materials are available to meet the schedule.
- Reviewing stock base of all your suppliers and ensure obsolescence is managed to keep write offs to a minimum.
The Person:
- Ensure the highest level of customer service is achieved.
- Developing strong personal relationships with Production Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, Project Teams and Suppliers to enable the achievement of business needs.
- Driving future developments / improvements of the materials planning process and tools.
