Overview
Jackson Hogg is delighted to be representing a well-established manufacturing business with the appointment of a Purchasing Assistant. No two days are the same, we are looking for someone who has drive and passion for procurement, we encourage recent graduates in business management or supply chain to apply. Equally, if you have a background in Sales Administration but are looking to venture into something different, this could be the one for you!
Working Hours: 08:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday
22 days annual leave + bank holidays (annual leave increases to 1 day per year)
Responsibilities
- Processing of Orders on the ERP system and Excel
- Liaising with suppliers for customer orders
- Processing orders on CRM system
- Process Job cards for all departments
- Raise new part numbers
- Process of warranties – Collecting data and photographs
- Organise transport with suppliers (UK & Worldwide)
Person Specification
- Proficient in IT/Microsoft packages, with experience using Sage desired
- Ability to communicate efficiently, verbally and in writing
- Industry experience desired but not essential
- Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail
