Jackson Hogg is supporting a fantastic, well known manufacturing business based in Team Valley on the appointment of an Accounting Assistant.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for raising customer invoices
• End to end management of Accounts Receivable Ledger including monthly reviews and balance sheet reconciliation
• Update of cashflow actuals & forecast on a weekly basis
• Credit Control for Sales Ledger
• Credit checks for new customers
• Sending statements to customers
• Regular updates of customer via credit safe
• Continuous management of customer credit limits
• Host weekly debtor calls
• Allocate receipts to invoices on a timely basis
• Issue Customer statements/reminders
• Maintain the Accounts Receivable inbox daily, making sure all queries are monitored
Experience
• Previous experience of working in an accounting function
• Strong knowledge in MS Office, especially Excel It would also be great (but not essential) if in addition to the above you also had:
• Experience working with NetSuite
• Enthusiastic, flexible and able to thrive and succeed in times of ambiguity and change
• Structured individual with ability to interact and communicate at all levels of the organisation
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications and relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
