Our client, Venator, are seeking a Communications Manager who will contribute to the company’s success by delivering impactful communications that resonate with audiences and reinforce the brand identity.
Job Purpose
The Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the communications strategy for the company. This role involves leading a variety of internal and external communications projects, working to strengthen the brand, engage stakeholders, and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
Key Responsibilities
- External Communications: Develops, executes, and evaluates external communications strategies and projects to protect and enhance Venator’s reputation.
- Internal Communications: Creates and manages internal communications initiatives to keep Venator associates informed and engaged.
- Content Management: Oversees and manages Venator’s communication channels, ensuring all content aligns with the company’s tone of voice, messaging, and branding.
- Material Production: Coordinates the production of communication materials, including annual reports, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Event Management: Plans and executes both internal and external events, such as trade exhibitions and conferences.
- Crisis Communications: Assists in managing communications during crisis situations to protect Venator’s reputation.
- Brand Guardianship: Acts as a Venator brand guardian, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines across all communications.
- Supplier & Agency Management: Manages relationships with communications suppliers and agencies, setting clear objectives and KPIs.

Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Experience in communications or a similar role.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptability and ability to perform under pressure.
- Proficiency in using communications tools and platforms such as content management systems, graphic design platforms (preferably Canva), and social media scheduling systems.
