Sunderland base – National and International Travel
£35k base + OT + Van + Allowances (OTE in excess of £60k)
Jackson Hogg is supporting a well-established Engineering firm in the area as they look to appoint an experienced Mechanical Field Service Technician / Hydraulic Technician to their team. This role is a very hands on Mechanical role with a specific focus on Hydraulics work.
As a Field Service Technician, you will take a proactive approach key installation, service and repair work at client locations and in their workshop. Some of the key duties include:
This opportunity is an excellent role for an established Mechanical or Hydraulics Technician to join an established company and bring immediate value to the team from their skills.
This role is a Field Based role. As such there is SIGNIFICANT working away in the role both in the UK and Internationally. This is a full time, permanent staff role on days. Renumeration s based on a base salary and additional allowances for shore based and offshore based deployments.
Applicants are warmly welcomed from an array of backgrounds including Ex Military, those from the Offshore Industry, newly qualified technicians as well as those experienced in the industry looking for a change. What’s important is attitude and team fit and a desire and willingness to undertake the work required.
Package includes a competitive base plus additional allowances, a nominal pension, Company Van with personal allowances and health benefits.

- Fault Finding
- Motor Strips and Rebuilds
- Pressure Testing
- Hot Oil Flushing
- Installation work - Inspection and Testing of new machinery
- Following designs and pre proscribed work orders
