About the Role:
Our client is seeking a skilled Marketing Lead to join their team. Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development, the successful candidate will work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and implement marketing strategies that expand the company’s reach and influence. This role will oversee the creation of marketing collateral, advertising initiatives, communication programs, and a comprehensive tradeshow calendar.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop marketing strategies in line with company objectives, collaborating with Business Development and Sales teams.
- Act as the brand guardian across the business, ensuring consistency with external partners, stakeholders, and suppliers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce compelling marketing collateral that aligns with the company’s brand values.
- Plan, implement, and manage the company’s annual tradeshow and events program.
- Manage the marketing budget to maximize ROI for all marketing activities.
- Mentor and support the development of a Marketing Assistant.
- Design and deliver a content plan, including website articles, multimedia, email campaigns, and social media posts.
Key Performance Indicators:
- Delivery of agreed marketing KPIs, including maximising PR, ROI, and brand visibility.
- Regular production of research and analytics reports to track marketing performance.
- Evidence of effective utilization of marketing strategies across various channels to enhance customer engagement.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in a Marketing Lead or similar role.
- Strong track record in executing successful marketing campaigns.
- In-depth knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing channels, and campaign development.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Commercial awareness with the flexibility to travel nationally and internationally as needed.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and web analytics tools.
Desirable:
- Experience within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
- People management experience.
- Familiarity with WordPress, CMS, and Google Ads.
