The ideal candidate will have experience working within non-destructive testing and currently obtain a PCN level 2 or higher in ultrasonic testing, magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing (eddy current flaw protection desirable). You must have proven experience leading NDT jobs and identifying complex defects, as well as excellent report writing skills.

Jackson Hogg Procurement are recruiting for a leading business in Middlesbrough on the appointment of a Senior Procurement Officer to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. We are also open to Procurement Officer level for this role. 

This role will support the Head of Procurement in managing and developing procurement processes, systems, and ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations. This person will lead and execute sourcing projects to support the delivery of added value to the business.

Hours can be flexible between an 08:00-09:00 start, working a 35 hour week with 3 days hybrid working on offer! Office days are Mondays and Tuesdays.

The Role

Senior Procurement Officer

Jackson Hogg Procurement division are partnering with Prosper based near North Shields on the appointment of a Procurement & Contracts Manager to join their small, close-knit procurement consultancy team on a full-time and permanent basis.

This role will be based on site during probationary period, before then offering a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in office and 2 days from home.

The Procurement & Contracts Manager will undertake a range of activities to support and create innovative procurement solutions and to effectively manage the delivery of projects for Prosper, it’s Customers and Supply Chain Partners while having a full awareness of and supporting the achievement of the business objectives of Prosper. This role will require you to lead on defined projects working on your own initiative.

 

The Role:

Jackson Hogg Procurement division are recruiting on behalf of a manufacturing specialist in Northumberland for the appointment of 2 Buyers to join their purchasing team.

These are full time and permanent roles, based on site offering £30-40k DOE. Reporting into the Head of Supply Chain, you would work in a wider purchasing team of 8 people and be responsible for for procurement of materials, supplies, and services required for production and operations.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Fridays 08:00-15:30.

Clean energy without limits

The organisation’s headcount plan was ambitious, and required an expanded recruitment capability to deliver it, but with varying recruitment volumes throughout the year, they needed a flexible solution. Geopura considered hiring an in-house recruiter, but the niche roles they were looking to fill, combined with the variability of their recruitment requirements and limited employer brand within the market meant that this solution wasn’t viable. They also considered expanding their use of recruitment agencies, but the unpredictable costs involved in this were difficult to align with their plans.

Geopura’s growth was starting to accelerate in 2022, but that came with its own problems

By placing one of our talent partners on-site, on a scalable basis from two to five days per week, we were able to optimise their recruitment process from start to finish and help them achieve their headcount plan. Our process started with an in-depth audit of their recruitment process, from job specification writing and job board usage analysis to interview technique and offer management. From there we took detailed briefs of the roles on offer and got to work sourcing candidates directly through our talent partner, with assistance from our wider, specialist recruitment team, and created a preferred supplierlist for the specialist roles we didn’t have the expertise to fill ourselves.

To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg proposed our flagship Talent Partnership service.
