The Social Media Executive role is designed to improve our marketing output by delivering innovative and engaging social media content that aligns with business objectives. Working closely with the Head of Campaigns, this role focuses on achieving business objectives by promoting the business to existing and prospective clients through suitable social media channels for each campaign.
As the Social Media Executive develops, they will take full ownership of our social media channels, including reporting and developing plans to grow each platform. This role also involves collaborating with the broader marketing team, including content and video production members, to understand and support their goals.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
- Understands campaign objectives and proposes strategies to achieve them using our social media channels.
- Helps develop an engaging social media strategy for the business.
- Evaluates and generates the most appropriate content for each channel.
- Manages, plans, and creates content for each channel.
- Monitors and adjusts social media campaigns as necessary.
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive Social Media Management Experience: Over three years of independent social media management across various industries, including strategy creation and content planning.
- Proven Ability to Develop and Implement Strategies: Successfully created and executed bespoke social media strategies tailored to meet unique business goals.
- Content Creation and Evaluation Expertise: Skilled in evaluating and generating appropriate content for different social media channels, with hands-on experience in content creation, writing, and planning.
- Strong Communication and Collaboration Skills: Experience in maintaining excellent client relations and liaising with various stakeholders.
- Educational Background in Media and Journalism: Holds an MA in Media and Journalism with distinction and a BA (Hons) in English Literature and Journalism.
- Proactive and Flexible: Actively engaged in voluntary training to enhance paid social skills, indicating a proactive approach to professional development and the ability to handle ad hoc duties as required.
