I’m delighted to be supporting a large, well-established organisation looking to recruit a Finance Transformation Partner into their finance function.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in finance transformation, systems implementation, process improvement or operational excellence to take a key role in improving how finance operates across a large and complex business.

The role

Working across Finance, Technology and the wider business, you will lead and support a range of finance transformation and change initiatives, helping to improve processes, systems and ways of working.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting finance transformation and change projects
• Identifying and delivering process improvements across the finance function
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology and the wider business
• Supporting finance systems implementations and digital transformation initiatives
• Driving greater use of automation and technology across finance processes
• Reviewing and improving key processes including month-end, balance sheet controls, R2R, P2P and O2C
• Gathering business requirements and helping translate these into practical solutions
• Prioritising improvement initiatives and supporting project governance
• Tracking the benefits and value delivered through transformation activity
• Supporting the successful adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working

The person

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of finance, combined with demonstrable experience of delivering or supporting change.

You could currently be working within finance transformation, operational excellence, finance systems, financial control, finance business partnering or a broader finance change/project role.

We’re particularly interested in candidates with experience across some of the following:

• Finance transformation and process improvement
• ERP or finance systems implementation
• Automation and digital finance
• Shared services or finance operating model improvements
• R2R, P2P and/or O2C
• Project management and business change
• Working across Finance and Technology teams
• Stakeholder management within a large or complex organisation

A recognised finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA would be advantageous but is not essential.

More important is your ability to demonstrate where you have personally helped improve, redesign or transform finance processes and delivered measurable results.
