IT Security and Compliance Analyst
This position is responsible for all aspects of Technical Security Management which includes execution of company policies, procedures, and standards. This position is responsible for all aspects of Technical Security Management which includes execution of company policies, procedures, and standards. Protect company computer assets, business systems and data by monitoring and scanning our systems to find security vulnerabilities, by analyzing the results of these technical evaluations, by providing guidance in remediation efforts, by educating a broader audience in best-practice security procedures, and by continuously improving this process through
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science or related field 4+ years or 6+ years of experience in information security
- Preferred Certified Information Systems and Security Professional (CISSP) or alternative (ISC)2 certification, CCNA, CISA certification (or similar)
- Strong in-depth and operational knowledge of networks, firewalls, proxies, and intrusion detection systems (as opposed to conceptual knowledge)
- Operational experience with network scanning and vulnerability scanning tools
- Operational experience with Forensic investigations and tools
- Operational experience with Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM) services and processes
- Strong knowledge of log collection, analysis, and correlation processes
- Proven track record of risk, compliance, and/or security management
- Ability to multitask operational, project and incident response activities across multinational sites and time zones
- Good awareness of the security level and sensitivity differences between corporate and industrial control/ lab system networks and environments.
- Strong general awareness of the current threat landscape in terms of types of attacks, exposures, and best practice counter measures
- Must be able to translate technical information into laymen terms to better understand user experiences, incident reports and technical challenges.
- Up to date knowledge new or emerging security technologies, threats, risks, and vulnerabilities
- Working knowledge of database and application security
- Good awareness of ITIL standards and best practice within operational environment
- Experience in working in a multinational environment
- Fluent in written and spoken English, (other languages are a plus)
- Must have a level of proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs
