You will be responsible for servicing, repair and diagnosing faults on a range of electrical and mechanical vehicles ranging from light and small vans, forklifts, and larger trucks and HGVs.

To be successful, you will: 
 
• Have experience in a similar background i.e. mechanic, vehicle repair, forklift, plant fitter, mechanic, access engineer, fitters, REME, etc. 
• Will need to possess multi-skill, knowledge and safe working practises with environmental awareness. 
• Work well with others or independently. 
• Have a full UK driving licence – HGV licences are advantages 
• Welding / fabricating desirable but not essential. 
 
 
This role offers a competitive salary on days with additional earning potential through overtime and salary reviews. There is a good amount of overtime on offer if you want it and it is within a busy and large, varied vehicle fleet operation.

Supporting the existing management team, this role is key in ensuring the successful delivery of the Site Engineering and Maintenance strategy.  This role will manage all aspects of the maintenance function such as:

This is an office based, systems management role where an understanding of maintenance functions and processes is essential. The ideal candidate will have experience of Maintenance Planning systems and processes such as and/or including SAP systems. A background in Maintenance is advantageous but not exclusive as someone from a Projects, Manufacturing, Design or even IT would fit well into this role. 
 
The ideal candidate will be conversant with SAP and Planning systems and have demonstrable experience within a manufacturing environment. Technical background and bias are open. Evidence of further education such as an HNC/HND is highly desirable and experience within a supervisory type of role would be desirable but not essential (a lead, senior or supervisor remit or responsibilities). While this is office based, a hands on approach and background in maintenance would be a distinct advantage. 
 
<ul>
	<li>Experience with CBMM systems, specifically SAP would be beneficial.
	<li>Previous experience of maintenance legislative requirements such as PUWER regs, LOLER regs beneficial.
	<li>A skilled based background would be great. Previous maintenance tech for example, but not essential.
</ul>

This is a permanent, hybrid role with offshore travelling.

Electrical Commissioning Engineer Key Responsibilities:

	<li>Lead the commissioning process for offshore equipment and systems, full lifecycle.
	<li>Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
	<li>Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for the successful integration and testing of complex equipment.
	<li>Conduct site inspections and testing to verify sub-systems.
	<li>Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and/or control technical issues that arise during the commissioning process, and during offshore trials.

Clean energy without limits

The organisation’s headcount plan was ambitious, and required an expanded recruitment capability to deliver it, but with varying recruitment volumes throughout the year, they needed a flexible solution. Geopura considered hiring an in-house recruiter, but the niche roles they were looking to fill, combined with the variability of their recruitment requirements and limited employer brand within the market meant that this solution wasn’t viable. They also considered expanding their use of recruitment agencies, but the unpredictable costs involved in this were difficult to align with their plans.

Geopura’s growth was starting to accelerate in 2022, but that came with its own problems

By placing one of our talent partners on-site, on a scalable basis from two to five days per week, we were able to optimise their recruitment process from start to finish and help them achieve their headcount plan. Our process started with an in-depth audit of their recruitment process, from job specification writing and job board usage analysis to interview technique and offer management. From there we took detailed briefs of the roles on offer and got to work sourcing candidates directly through our talent partner, with assistance from our wider, specialist recruitment team, and created a preferred supplierlist for the specialist roles we didn’t have the expertise to fill ourselves.

To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg proposed our flagship Talent Partnership service.

Our talent partner assisted in creating an apprenticeship scheme to foster new talent, and by optimising the recruitment process and controlling all activities centrally, time to offer was reduced by 22%. This all allowed Geopurato achieve their headcount plans, continue their growth journey and focus on their innovative technologies rather than recruitment. Due to the success of their first 12 months, Geoupura extended their contract by a further 12 months.
