The Finance Assistant is responsible for managing all aspects of the purchase ledger/procurement function, ensuring the accurate processing of supplier invoices, raising purchase orders and maintaining good relationships with suppliers.
Responsibilities:
? Accurately process supplier invoices and credit notes
? Match, batch and code invoices to purchase orders
? Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
? Respond to supplier queries promptly and professionally.
? Assist with month-end closing procedures
Skills & Experience Required
? Previous experience in a purchase ledger, accounts payable or finance administration role.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
