Goods Out Forklift Truck Driver (2 Shift – Temp to Perm)

Pay Rate: £14.65 per hour (2 shift rate)

Jackson Hogg are hiring on behalf of our client in Ferryhill (Primary Ops) for a Goods Out Forklift Truck Driver to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.

This role is focused on the safe and efficient movement and dispatch of finished goods within a busy manufacturing environment.

Working Pattern

• Day 1 induction on dayshift

• Moving onto a 2-shift rotation

• Full-time hours

Pay

• £14.65 per hour (2 shift rate – advertised rate)

• Initial induction day paid at £12.21 per hour (dayshift rate)

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring finished goods are picked, prepared and dispatched accurately and safely.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating a forklift truck safely and efficiently

• Picking, staging and loading customer orders

• Ensuring goods are correctly identified, labelled and prepared for dispatch

• Following safe loading and dispatch procedures

• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

• Working independently and managing priorities effectively

• Upholding health & safety and housekeeping standards at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Valid FLT licence / certification (essential)

• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

• Experience within goods out, logistics or dispatch (desirable)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable and able to work a 2-shift rotation
