An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, technical Accountant who is seeking a new challenge in an exciting business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for month-close and consolidation processes, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, journals, and resolve discrepancies.
• Produce statutory and group financial statements in line with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including consolidation, FX, eliminations, and equity movements.
• Maintain chart of accounts and master data governance.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Manage AR and AP ledgers.
• Support the month-end close and implement controls to improve reporting efficiency.
• Provide technical accounting support to management accounts and transactional teams.
• Prepare and submit tax returns (VAT, corporate tax, etc.) and support corporation tax filings.
• Act as the main contact for external accountants and auditors, coordinating and resolving audit queries.
• Support internal and external audits across global entities.

As the ideal candidate you will be/have:

• Qualified accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA
• 3+ years experience in a financial accounting role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards - IFRS, GAAP and relevant tax
