Hours of Work
- Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Flexible start times between 2:00am and 8:00am
- 8.5-hour shifts
Our client is a growing and expanding manufacturing business based in Ripon. Due to increased production demand, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative / Packer to support day-to-day manufacturing and packing operations. This role is well suited to individuals with previous factory, warehouse, or production experience who are comfortable with manual handling and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing finished products in line with company standards and specifications
- Manual handling and heavy lifting as part of daily production activities
- Operating basic production equipment where required
- Palletising goods and preparing products for dispatch
- Carrying out visual quality checks to ensure product consistency
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all health & safety procedures and manual handling guidelines
- Supporting general production tasks as required across the site
- Previous experience in a production, packing, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
- Physically fit and able to carry out regular heavy lifting
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work to production targets
- Flexible approach to start times within the stated shift window
- Strong work ethic and team-focused attitude
- Experience with pallet trucks or basic warehouse equipment
- Previous work in high-volume production or packing environments
- Competitive salary of £26,000 – £28,000 DOE
