An Exciting Opportunity

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Finance Systems and Data Manager to join our Finance Development team on a 12?month fixed?term basis. This is a senior role with significant influence over the organisation’s finance technology landscape and an opportunity to shape long?term systems strategy.

The Role

As Senior Finance Systems and Data Manager, you will take full ownership of all finance technology platforms outside of Workday. You will play a key leadership role across transformation programmes, system optimisation, and technology strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day?to?day management and development of all non?Workday Finance systems
• Ensure systems are robust, secure, reliable and aligned with Finance objectives
• Work closely with the Head of Finance Development and Workday Functional Team
• Act as the Finance systems lead across organisation?wide change initiatives
• Embed Finance requirements into cross?functional transformation programmes
• Maintain and protect system integrity during upgrades, migrations and change cycles
• Lead financial system and database upgrades/migrations
• Develop and implement governance frameworks, controls and improvement processes
• Contribute to and shape the long?term Finance technology roadmap
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure high?quality delivery
• Coach and mentor a high?performing team
• Present solutions, recommendations and insights to senior leaders

About You

Essential

• Experience managing a complex systems landscape (in?house and third?party applications)
• Strong track record in system governance, frameworks and continuous improvement
• Proven project delivery experience, particularly in technical or system environments
• Excellent stakeholder and supplier management skills
• Outstanding communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior leaders
• Experience leading, motivating and developing a team

Desirable

• Experience with finance software, accounting systems or payment platforms
• Knowledge of Microsoft technology stack
• Exposure to Workday
• Background in Finance, Technology or Change leadership
