About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and manage complex, high-value R&D projects — from concept through to product launch and lifecycle. This role is ideal for a technically minded project leader who thrives in multidisciplinary environments and enjoys balancing strategic oversight with hands-on delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver complex technical projects in accordance with company processes and governance standards.

• Manage cross-functional, cross-site project teams within a highly regulated environment.

• Take full accountability for project planning, budgeting, and resource allocation — providing accurate forecasts and transparent reporting.

• Identify and manage project risks and opportunities, driving effective mitigation strategies.

• Maintain outstanding stakeholder engagement through clear, consistent communication.

• Provide concise reporting to Project Control Boards, Sponsors, and Senior Leadership.

• Ensure projects are effectively closed out and transitioned into lifecycle management.

Role Requirements

Education & Qualifications:

• Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent relevant industry experience delivering complex technical projects.

• Recognised Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, APM).

• Chartered status or working towards Chartership (advantageous but not essential).

Experience:

• Proven experience leading high-risk, high-value, and high-complexity projects.

• Background in managing R&D projects and product development lifecycles.

• Experience in project budgeting, tracking, and forecasting across multiple workstreams.

• Strong leadership and people management experience across cross-functional teams.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership presence with a collaborative, motivational style.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
