As an Electronics Project Engineer, you’ll play a key role in driving new product development (NPD) and supporting ongoing product improvements.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects end-to-end, ensuring PCB quality, and collaborating with manufacturing partners while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electronics development projects from initial specification through to production and documentation
- Work closely with R&D and cross-functional teams to provide technical support and input
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to meet key deadlines
- Liaise with design and manufacturing partners, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to internal stakeholders
- Support the development and management of test jigs and PCBA test equipment
- Carry out testing, validation, and performance verification of electronic products
- Conduct fault finding, debugging, and root cause analysis using hardware/software tools
- Research and recommend new components, technologies, and design improvements
- Monitor market trends, component availability, and potential risks (including obsolescence)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation
- Ensure all products meet relevant regulatory standards (e.g. ROHS, LVD, EMC, PSTI, CRA)
About You
We’re looking for someone who is curious, proactive, and solutions-focused, with the ability to take ownership of projects and build strong working relationships.
You’ll ideally have:
- A degree (or equivalent) in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
- Experience managing engineering or product development projects
- Strong communication skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Experience or exposure to PCB design and manufacturing (desirable)
- An understanding of product compliance and regulatory standards
- A genuine interest in electronics, continuous improvement, and innovation
Software knowledge is beneficial but not essential.
