Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (between 8:00am and 6:00pm, flexibility required)
Pay Rate: £13.00 - £15.50 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Office & Events Support Assistant to join our Corporate Services team on a temporary basis to provide cover for staff absence. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, takes pride in providing excellent support services, and is happy to be hands-on in a busy office environment.
Reporting to the Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager, you will support the Corporate Services function and wider business to help ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will provide support across a range of office, facilities and event-related activities, including:
- Coordinating and supporting meetings, events and activities held within the organisation's office space.
- Assisting with general office administration, including stationery orders, room bookings, photocopying and printing.
- Supporting office and facilities management activities as required.
- Handling deliveries and carrying out manual handling tasks, including moving office furniture, stationery supplies and IT equipment.
- Supporting the setup and clear-down of events, including arranging meeting rooms, moving tables and chairs, managing catering supplies and maintaining event spaces.
- Assisting with kitchen and hospitality duties following events, including loading dishwashers and tidying communal areas.
- Greeting visitors at reception and escorting them to relevant office areas.
- Contributing positively as part of the wider team and supporting additional operational activities as required.
You will be an organised, proactive individual with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to support a variety of business functions.
