HR Advisor, 12 month FTC

My client is seeking an experienced and proactive HR Advisor to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term basis. This is a predominantly internal-facing role where you will play a key part in delivering high-quality HR support across the organisation.
Working at an operational level, you will contribute to key people initiatives, support day-to-day HR activities, and help drive improvements in people processes, engagement, and capability. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure across the full employee lifecycle while supporting a dynamic and evolving business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a developing HR partnering approach, coaching and empowering people leaders to confidently apply policies and best practice
- Contribute to the implementation and evolution of the organisation’s engagement strategy, using feedback frameworks to enhance culture, processes, and employee experience
- Play an active role in supporting wider HR and business initiatives focused on continuous improvement and organisational effectiveness
- Provide generalist HR support across all key areas including employee relations, absence management, performance, ED&I, and coaching
- Manage and support the progression of employee relations cases, ensuring timely and appropriate resolution
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Uphold all health, safety, and environmental standards, supporting a culture focused on zero harm
Criteria:
- CIPD qualified (or equivalent experience) with solid, demonstrable HR experience
- Strong generalist HR background, ideally within a fast-paced or manufacturing environment
- Confident working autonomously and making sound, pragmatic decisions
- Skilled in building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Proactive, organised, and committed to delivering high-quality HR support
