Overview
We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and continuously improve a robust quality management system within a dynamic manufacturing environment. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet or exceed industry standards and consistently satisfy customer requirements.
The successful candidate will drive quality excellence, champion process improvements, and collaborate cross-functionally to enhance operational performance and product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to strengthen compliance, standardization, and organizational capability
- Support the development and standardization of ISO 9001-based processes, including procedures, work instructions, and quality records across functions such as Receiving, QA Testing, and Calibration
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis initiatives, driving corrective and preventive actions across the business
- Partner with cross-functional leadership teams to identify and implement process improvement opportunities
- Ensure effective validation of process capabilities and maintain high standards of product quality
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality ownership throughout the organization
- Develop and maintain clear, structured technical documentation (procedures, visual aids, and work instructions)
Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline
- Professional certifications such as CQA, CQE, or equivalent strongly preferred
- OSHA 10-hour training (or similar) is advantageous
Experience
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Quality leadership or management role
- Proven background within a manufacturing environment (high-mix, low-volume or build-to-order preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading quality teams and driving measurable improvements
Skills & Expertise
- Strong knowledge of quality tools (e.g., control charts, root cause methodologies)
- Experience with Lean principles (training or certifications desirable)
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis, with the ability to present data-driven insights clearly
- Proficiency in technical documentation writing (procedures, work instructions, visual aids)
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Project, Visio, PowerPoint)
- Background in electronics (academic or military) is a plus
