About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Software Developer to join a growing Integrity Solutions team based in Newcastle.
Working alongside engineers, technical specialists, and software professionals, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative software solutions for a range of client projects whilst contributing to the development of new tools and technologies through internal R&D initiatives.
This role would suit a developer who enjoys solving real-world engineering challenges and wants to work in a highly collaborative environment with international exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software solutions that support project delivery and business objectives
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to define software requirements and deliver practical solutions
- Act as a technical point of contact for software-related queries from internal stakeholders and clients
- Participate in software testing, validation, and quality assurance activities
- Deliver demonstrations, status updates, and technical presentations where required
- Create supporting documentation and user guidance materials
- Provide software training to users and stakeholders
- Support colleagues across UK and international operations
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong Python development and scripting experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong written and spoken English
Desirable
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, or ASP.NET
- Experience designing user interfaces and improving user experience
- Database development or database programming experience
- Exposure to software testing and quality assurance processes
- Experience providing application support or technical product support
- Understanding of engineering environments or technical industries
