Jackson Hogg is partnering with a global organisation in Newcastle on the appointment of an Accountant. Main focusses will be on daily operations such as third party accounts receivable, cash management and month end postings.
Responsible for:Overseeing Intercompany transactions
Cashflow management
Making payments
VAT reconciliation and returns
Month end general ledger postings including accruals and prepayments
Month end reconciliations
IT Lease management
Assisting Head of Finance with other ad-hoc tasks where necessary
Payroll processing
Pension and benefits administration
Essential Skills Required:
Hybrid Working Available – 3 days in office
£35,000
10% pension contribution & bonus scheme
Responsible for:
- Accounts receivable – third party
- Invoice tracking and reviews with project managers
- Processing incoming purchase orders
- Raising client timesheets
- Raising client invoices and enter into accounting software
- Credit control
Essential Skills Required:
- Good knowledge of Excel
- AAT Level 4 qualified preferred
- Experience of Payroll processing in an SME
- Significant accounts receivable experience
