Jackson Hogg is exclusively supporting a well-established business in Cramlington in their search for an experienced Credit Controller. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end credit control process, maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full credit control process for a portfolio of accounts
- Raise and process customer invoices accurately and on time
- Allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Proactively chase overdue debt via phone, email and written communication
- Resolve payment queries and work closely with internal teams to resolve disputes
- Maintain up-to-date debtor reports and support month-end processes
- Monitor credit limits and highlight any risk concerns to management
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers
About You
- Proven experience in a Credit Controller role
- Confident in chasing outstanding debt and managing difficult conversations
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Proficient in Excel and finance/ERP systems
What’s on Offer
- £30,000 annual salary
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
- Onsite role based at the Cramlington site
