Customer Services Manager, Gateshead
Salary £35,000 - £45,000

The successful candidate will be the driving force behind a team of talented customer service and sales executives, ensuring the smooth operation of the department while continuously improving processes and creating a culture of respect, transparency, and customer-first thinking. Own the customer experience from start to finish, and make a difference by implementing innovative strategies to boost satisfaction and streamline workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Motivate a high-performing team to exceed expectations, while managing relationships across departments.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly, negotiate order lead times, and always go the extra mile to deliver exceptional service.
- Champion KPIs, provide impactful reports, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work hand-in-hand with internal and external stakeholders to deliver seamless solutions that enhance the customer journey.
- Ensure full adherence to safety, health, and environmental standards, as well as regulatory requirements.
Criteria:
- A proven track record in customer service management and team leadership
- A passion for improving processes and delivering efficiency
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong commercial acumen with a keen eye for detail and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
