Master Scheduler
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

If you’re a detail-driven planner who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing or project environments, this is a chance to take ownership of end-to-end project and capacity scheduling across two sites.
This role sits at the heart of operations, aligning labour, resources, and equipment to deliver projects on time, to plan, and in line with customer demand. You’ll work closely with Engineering, Projects, Sales, and Operations to build robust schedules, manage competing priorities, and keep delivery on track.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the master production and project schedule across multiple facilities
- Build detailed project plans, milestones, and timelines from initiation through to completion
- Analyse production capacity and forecast future demand in partnership with Sales
- Lead cross-functional capacity planning to optimise long-term manufacturing output
- Monitor progress, expedite delays, and adjust schedules to manage unforeseen changes
- Communicate schedule status, risks, and actions to stakeholders and senior management
- Track KPIs and produce reports to measure manufacturing and project performance
- Ensure all planning activity aligns with Health & Safety standards and best practice
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience in a Planner, Scheduler, or similar role within manufacturing or project delivery
- Strong knowledge of production planning, capacity forecasting, and resource management
- Proficiency in scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar) and ERP systems
- Experience with critical path and resource analysis
