Assistant Management Accountant - Accounts Receivable

Jackson Hogg is supporting a growing business in Gateshead with the appointment of an Assistant Management Accountant.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working within Accounts Receivable, Credit Control or Finance Administration who is looking to broaden their experience and progress towards a future career in Management Accounting.

Alongside responsibility for customer invoicing, cash allocation, account reconciliations and debtor management, you'll gain valuable exposure to month-end activities including balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing customer invoicing and cash allocation processes
• Maintaining customer accounts and resolving queries
• Monitoring aged debt and supporting collections activities
• Assisting with balance sheet reconciliations and month-end processes
• Supporting audit requests and financial reporting activities
• Contributing to process improvement and finance system enhancements

About You

• Experience within Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Sales Ledger or a similar finance role
• Strong reconciliation and account management skills
• Exposure to month-end activities would be advantageous
• Studying towards AAT, ACCA or CIMA, or keen to continue your professional development
• Looking for a role that offers genuine progression and increased responsibility
