Personal Assistant to Director
Calling all exceptional Personal Assistants!
Are you a proactive, highly organised PA who loves being at the heart of a busy, fast-paced directorate? If you're looking for a role where you can genuinely add value, influence priorities, and become a trusted partner to a senior leader, this could be the perfect opportunity.
This isn't a traditional PA role centred around diary management and travel bookings. This high energy Director is looking for a bright, capable and forward thinking Personal Assistant who can provide high level coordination, anticipate needs, and help keep the wider directorate running smoothly.
You'll act as a key support to both the Director and leadership team, ensuring priorities stay aligned, information flows effectively, and plans are delivered with professionalism and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
• Providing dedicated Personal Assistant support to the Director and wider leadership team
• Coordinating activities across the directorate to ensure priorities remain aligned and on track
• Organising and facilitating internal meetings, workshops and team events
• Managing actions, follow-ups and governance activities to ensure progress is maintained
• Preparing high-quality presentations, reports and briefing materials
• Anticipating requirements and proactively resolving issues before they arise
• Maintaining oversight of multiple workstreams and connecting information across teams
• Reviewing information and plans to ensure accuracy, consistency and attention to detail
• Supporting strategic projects and introducing structure, organisation and coordination where needed
• Acting as a trusted point of contact and helping the Director maximise their effectiveness
What We're Looking For
• Previous experience as a Personal Assistant,
• Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills
• Highly proactive, able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Advanced PowerPoint and presentation preparation skills
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Good business awareness with the ability to understand how different priorities connect
• Comfortable managing multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Confident sense-checking information and challenging constructively where appropriate
Personal Attributes
• Naturally organised and always one step ahead
• Bright, adaptable and quick to learn
• Solutions-focused with a positive, can-do attitude
• Calm and confident under pressure
• Professional, resilient and highly dependable
• Comfortable working with a direct, high-performing leader
• Someone who takes ownership, uses initiative and thrives without constant direction
If you're an ambitious PA who enjoys working at pace, thinking ahead and adding value every day, we'd love to hear from you.
