Jackson Hogg are delighted to be working with a growing construction products business to appoint a commercially driven Sales & Estimating Executive. This is a customer-facing, commercially focused role combining sales, account management, and project estimating, playing a key role in driving revenue growth and delivering accurate project costing.
What you’ll do
- Manage and grow an existing customer base while developing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
- Prepare accurate take-offs, estimates, and quotations from technical drawings
- Ensure all quotes and orders are processed accurately and within required timeframes
- Upload and maintain quotation data within the CRM system (Epicor)
- Attend client meetings to understand project scope and requirements
- Deliver clear and structured project handovers to internal stakeholders
- Manage multiple client accounts, keeping CRM records up to date
- Respond to customer queries across phone and email
- Drive daily sales activity and contribute to revenue growth targets
- Promote product range and identify opportunities to increase sales
- Develop and execute structured sales plans for key accounts
- Produce weekly performance data and monthly reporting
- Monitor competitor and market activity
- Represent the business at exhibitions and industry events
- Experience in estimating/ commercial role within construction or building products (essential)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive approach to winning business
- Experience managing multiple accounts and priorities
- Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Positive, self-motivated and driven attitude
- Understanding of construction processes (preferred)
