Growing FMCG Business | North East
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing and fast-paced business within the FMCG wholesale sector. Due to continued growth and increased internal reporting requirements, we are looking for a Sales Office Assistant to join an established sales office team.
Reporting to the Sales Office Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the internal sales function, managing day-to-day administration, and ensuring excellent service delivery. You will work closely with multiple departments including finance, transport, purchasing, and sales, making strong communication skills and organisation essential.
This position would suit someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment, enjoys problem-solving, and is confident working with data and internal systems.
What you’ll do
- Provide excellent customer service via phone and email
- Support outbound customer service and sales activity
- Process orders and maintain accurate customer and pricing data
- Manage and improve CRM systems and internal processes
- Produce reports using Excel and internal reporting tools
- Provide administrative support to the sales office and management team
- Collaborate with finance, transport, purchasing, and sales teams
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional phone manner
- Logical thinker with good problem-solving ability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
- Experience using CRM systems is advantageous
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
