This growing organization combines cutting-edge analytics with practical applications to provide critical insights for asset management.
They are seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time, in-office role with strong potential for progression into a management track, making in-person collaboration key.
As a Senior Analyst, you will work on the processing and analysis of field-gathered data to assess infrastructure conditions. You will collaborate closely with Technology, Engineering, and Operations teams, providing advanced analytical insight, improving existing processes, and contributing to research and development efforts.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled, hands-on analyst with experience in data-intensive environments who is ready to take on greater responsibility and help drive innovation within the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret field-collected data to support condition assessment projects.
- Develop, improve, and optimize Python scripts and workflows for data processing.
- Review and integrate signal processing algorithms for acoustic or sensor data.
- Automate data pipelines and simplify analytical processes to improve efficiency.
- Support R&D efforts with alternative analysis methods and advanced modelling.
- Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders to ensure data insights support business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field.
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience; a Master’s degree is an asset.
- Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and database management.
- Experience with Octave or Matlab, distributed data processing frameworks, and software best practices (testing, benchmarking, peer reviews).
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and data science techniques.
- Prior experience in acoustic or optical signal processing is a plus.
- Knowledge of multivariate spectral analysis, pattern mining, clustering, and optimization models is advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; comfortable collaborating across technical and business teams.
