Jackson Hogg is supporting a fantastic client on the appointment of an Accounts Payable Manager.
Location: Middlesbrough.
Working Arrangements: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hybrid working available).
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the accounts payable function is operated accurately, efficiently and to agreed timescales.
- Overseeing of accounts payable processes from input to payment, ensuring that processes are being adhered to across the business.
- Understanding the procurement/purchase procedure. Implementing changes as required to improve the service provided by the accounts payable team to the business.
- Review and monitor unmatched cash payments. Review, monitor and report on accounts payable and procurement KPI’s.
- Checking payment runs, compiling and reporting statutory reporting for payment practices and performance.
We are seeking someone who:
- Has a proven ability to supervise and motivate staff, with at least 3 years’ experience in a similar Accounts Payable Manager role.
- Is a well organised team player.
- Has strong communication skills.
- Possess a positive attitude to problem solving as well as forward thinking.
- Has the ability to liaise confidently with all other departments at all levels.
