We are seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. To be successful, you will have a proven track record of operational leadership gained in a heavy welding and fabrication environment and ideally have an excellent knowledge of offshore wind, large structural assemblies, roll or press bending, and SAW welding also sub arc experience.

This role is responsible for planning and controlling all production schedules and labour resources to consistently meet customer requirements for delivery, quality, and cost. You will have full accountability for SOP compliance, accurate production data, task management, and quality system management in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards. Property Manager

The Manufacturing Process Engineer will work closely with the wider engineering team to develop new processes for NPI, improve existing processes to maximise efficiency, and support scale-up transitions for high volume production projects.

Key Responsibilities

	<li>Day to day support of production, troubleshooting issues with manufacturing equipment in a timely manner
	<li>Developing and optimising processes in the manufacture of microelectronics products

Clean energy without limits

The organisation’s headcount plan was ambitious, and required an expanded recruitment capability to deliver it, but with varying recruitment volumes throughout the year, they needed a flexible solution. Geopura considered hiring an in-house recruiter, but the niche roles they were looking to fill, combined with the variability of their recruitment requirements and limited employer brand within the market meant that this solution wasn’t viable. They also considered expanding their use of recruitment agencies, but the unpredictable costs involved in this were difficult to align with their plans.

Geopura’s growth was starting to accelerate in 2022, but that came with its own problems

By placing one of our talent partners on-site, on a scalable basis from two to five days per week, we were able to optimise their recruitment process from start to finish and help them achieve their headcount plan. Our process started with an in-depth audit of their recruitment process, from job specification writing and job board usage analysis to interview technique and offer management. From there we took detailed briefs of the roles on offer and got to work sourcing candidates directly through our talent partner, with assistance from our wider, specialist recruitment team, and created a preferred supplierlist for the specialist roles we didn’t have the expertise to fill ourselves.

To assist Geopura in their ambitious growth journey, Jackson Hogg proposed our flagship Talent Partnership service.

Our talent partner assisted in creating an apprenticeship scheme to foster new talent, and by optimising the recruitment process and controlling all activities centrally, time to offer was reduced by 22%. This all allowed Geopurato achieve their headcount plans, continue their growth journey and focus on their innovative technologies rather than recruitment. Due to the success of their first 12 months, Geoupura extended their contract by a further 12 months.
