Jackson Hogg is exclusively supporting our client, a large established organisation based in Newcastle.
Duties & Responsibilities

Day to day book-keeping, cash reconciliation, the making of payments, and the preparation of month end management accounts for certain companies.

Supervision, management and leadership role in respect of management accounts team.

Review of monthly management accounts.

Management of the audit process.
-
Accounting for new companies as a result of group reconstructions, additions and disposals.
-
Distribution and presentation of financial reports to internal stakeholders.

Collating information for audit teams, responding to queries in relation to audit completion.

Act as finance business partner. Providing insight to develop the business and support its growth.

Liaise and coordinate with systems development teams to maximise and develop existing and new financial systems and processes.
Experience
-
Experience of cash reconciliation, making payments, book-keeping, financial systems, and the production of financial reports and month end close cycles.

Excellent interpersonal skills with accuracy and attention to detail. Diligent and reliable.

Good organisational skills and ability to work to, and ensure others work to, processes and deadlines.
-
Self-led with passion and drive to ensure targets are achieved or exceeded. Proactive, with a positive attitude, using initiative when completing tasks.
