Newcastle (Hybrid)
Calling all EAs, intelligent administrators and project managers! This isn’t your typical PA role. The Director is very organised and tends to manage a lot of her own diary, travel, and external meetings. Instead, what she needs is a really bright, proactive EA who can think ahead, work independently, and add value beyond traditional admin support. You’ll play a key role across the directorate, helping keep everything aligned, organised, and running smoothly.
Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Supporting the Director and wider team with high-level coordination
- Helping with team planning and making sure priorities are aligned
- Setting up internal meetings and keeping things organised across the directorate
- Keeping an overview of what’s going on and joining the dots where needed
- Pulling together clear, polished PowerPoint presentations
- Anticipating what the Director might need next and staying one step ahead
- Sense-checking information and plans to make sure everything stacks up
- Supporting on projects and bringing structure where needed
- Someone sharp, switched-on, and quick to pick things up
- Proactive and confident working on your own initiative
- Really strong organisation and planning skills
- Experience supporting at a senior level or working in a project-style role
- Strong PowerPoint skills and attention to detail
- Good business awareness – able to understand how things work and fit together
- Comfortable keeping track of lots of moving parts at once
- Super organised and naturally on top of things
- Bright, practical, and solutions-focused
- Able to think ahead and spot what’s coming
- Calm, confident, and happy working with a direct, high-performing leader
- Someone who takes ownership and doesn’t need lots of direction
About the Director
The Director is direct, fair, and knows what she wants. She has high standards and values people who are proactive, capable, and reliable.
What are you waiting for??
This would be a great fit for a strong EA or someone with project management experience who enjoys working at pace and being genuinely involved in how a team operates. If this is you then please do get in touch!
