Jackson Hogg is delighted to be partnering with a key client on the appointment of a Head of Supply Chain, a senior leadership role focused on driving sustainable, cost-effective and strategically aligned supply chain operations. This is an exciting and high-impact position with full ownership of procurement, supplier strategy and end-to-end supply chain performance.
This role will suit a commercially minded leader who can balance strategic direction with operational delivery, bringing a strong focus on cost optimisation, supplier relationships, supplier performance and continuous improvement across a multi-site environment.
The Opportunity
- Set and deliver the procurement strategy, owning supplier relationships and contract negotiation
- Drive cost optimisation whilst maintaining quality, service and supply chain resilience
- Lead end-to-end supply chain operations including forecasting, inventory and storeroom management
- Implement best-in-class processes to improve stock accuracy, reduce obsolescence and enhance part flow
- Build consistent, scalable and resilient supply chain practices across multiple sites
- Partner cross-functionally to align procurement with wider commercial and asset strategies
- Proven leadership experience across procurement and supply chain within a complex environment with the ability to drive, motivate and develop high performing teams
- Strong strategic thinker with a data-led approach to decision making
- Demonstrable success in supplier negotiation and achieving cost reduction goals
- Experience working with ERP systems and supply chain technologies
- Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of financial drivers and budget management
- Confident influencing stakeholders and driving change across the business

Originally from a small Scottish town north of Aberdeen, Skye is an Economics graduate and moved to Newcastle in 2017 to start her career in recruitment. Outside of work, Skye is a dedicated dog mum to her Frenchie, Frankie, and can often be found taking long walks along the beach with a local coffee in hand.
