This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional to play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a range of complex projects. Working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules, ensuring programmes remain aligned with project objectives, resource availability and key delivery milestones.

Working closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining and analysing project schedules, ensuring programmes remain aligned with project objectives, resource availability and key delivery milestones.
The Role
As Planner, you will support projects from initiation through to completion by providing accurate planning, scheduling and reporting information across a portfolio of work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using P6 planning software
- Supporting project teams in defining deliverables, activities, dependencies and programme logic
- Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and department leads to gather progress updates and resource requirements
- Monitoring project performance against agreed plans and highlighting potential risks, delays or constraints
- Supporting resource planning activities and identifying potential capacity issues across projects
- Analysing programme data, critical paths and schedule performance to support informed decision making
- Producing regular planning reports, milestone updates, look-ahead schedules and performance metrics
- Assisting with recovery planning and the implementation of corrective actions where required
- Maintaining programme baselines and supporting change management processes
- Providing planning information for project reviews, client meetings and management reporting
- Supporting wider business forecasting and workload planning activities.
- Contributing planning expertise to tender, proposal and business development activities as required
- Building positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, customers and delivery partners
We're interested in speaking with candidates who can demonstrate:
- Previous experience within Planning, Project Controls, Scheduling or Project Support
- Experience working within engineering, construction, infrastructure, manufacturing or other project-led environments
- A strong understanding of project planning principles, including schedule logic, dependencies, critical path analysis and progress tracking
- Experience using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar planning software
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify programme risks or inconsistencies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Experience supporting resource planning or forecasting activities would be advantageous
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders
